pigspleen?
a fictitious service provider in the cory doctorow story little brother.

Somebody had to take it.
Brian K Vaughn, author of Y: The Last Man
"A worthy younger sibling to Orwell’s 1984, Cory Doctorow’s LITTLE BROTHER is lively, precocious, and most importantly, a little scary."

School Library Journal
"Teen espionage fans will appreciate the numerous gadgets made from everyday materials. One afterword by a noted cryptologist and another from an infamous hacker further reflect Doctorow's principles, and a bibliography has resources for teens interested in intellectual freedom, information access, and technology enhancements."
My Book Review
Cory Doctorow's novel Lttle Brother is a dire warning should the Department of Homeland Security continue down its current path. When high school students are incarcerated and interrogated as terrorists simply for being in the wrong place in the wrong time, they end up fighting back.

This story recalls the best from Three Days of the Condor, FX, and other more contemporary movies about repressed innocents doing what they know best to fight back. As always, it's deeply entertaining to see the cornered underdog reply in kind to a heavy-handed bully who's failed to take proper measure of the victim. Mix in your hacker mentality and an informed technology, and you can be sure this will attract Hollywood before long.
